4 Hour Durasteel Fire Vault with gas supression

Our SECURE GAS PROTECTED MEDIA VAULTS in Leatherhead are fully safeguarded by inert gas (Argonite) fire suppression/extinguishing system and security alarms. It is fire-rated for 4 hours and issuitable for all types of computer and broadcast media, microfiche and sensitive document storage. The release of the gas is fully automated but can be also released manually (electrical remote release or in the unlikely event of a total power failure locally). Saracen’s Secure Media Vaults are made out of Durasteel which has durability and have been tested to extremes and power shield fire protecting metal door. They are impact moisture resistant and withstand vibration. Each system is tested up to 240-minute fire resistance. Durasteel partitions provide vertical fire barriers to meet the requirements of BS 476: Part 22: 1987(unexposed surface of the barrier does not exceed 140 degrees centigrade above ambient temperature) . They will withstand the wear and tear of industrial and commercial environments and resist the forces of high pressure hose stream encountered during fire-fighting.

As well as the full fire protection, exceeding BS4783 standards, the Secure Media Vault also has 24Hr
CCTV and security coded access, air sampling, humidity and temperature equipment.

All Media is transported in Secure Media Cases
